Aurora just wants to live a quiet, peaceful life and run a successful treat shop, but life is never that simple when you share your quaint home and life with a Trickster Daemon and an Elemental Fae.

When said Daemon doesn’t show up for work, Aurora finds herself working with a sexy Shifter from her past to find the missing young woman before the Daemon’s brother tears their home to pieces.

Laek — the sexy Shifter in question — has his work cut out for him. If he isn’t careful, Aurora might just burn him to ashes before he has a chance to tell her why he came back to town.

Aurora isn’t a private investigator by any stretch of the imagination, but she’s about to uncover a lot more than she bargains for while searching for her Daemon.

This stand-alone cozy fantasy was created with:

-1 cup of fantasy creatures and worlds
-1 cup of romance
-1 cup of mystery
-1 heaping tablespoon of magic
-a pinch of coarse language
-a dash of spice

It was baked with a controlled shot of Drakoan Hellfaehr until the edges darkened while ensuring the centre stayed nice and… dare I say… moist. Then it was placed on a rack, cooled, and topped with a healthy layer of sweet happily ever after. It pairs nicely with a warm mug of hot cocoa, a onesie, and a pair of fluffy socks.

***** Although meant to be on the lighter side of things, this story contains mature content some readers might or might not enjoy. For example, there’s an open-door intimate scene in the second Epilogue that readers can dive into or skip past.
