Content Notes

Use the tabs below to find out more. Note: possible (vague) spoilers ahead…

The stories told aim to provide an enjoyable reading experience. However, there may be the occasional implicit or explicit event (whether current or reflected upon), challenging personality, or other content in these stories some readers may find uncomfortable or disturbing.

ALL books written by C.S. Knight and C. Sunrise were written with mature audiences in mind. The books may contain elements that may not be suitable for younger readers (e.g., coarse language, violence, and intimate scenes). Many of these books involve characters who have one foot in the animal kingdom, and act accordingly.

Broad content notes and mentions of the intended audience are included in the book descriptions on retailer’s sites. Some books may also contain a more detailed message about content notes at the beginning of the book (TIP: you can use the retailer’s book preview option, if available, to see the message prior to purchasing/reading the book).

** Reader discretion (and parental/caregiver discretion, when applicable) is always advised.

Four-Oh

This series contains themes that some readers may find disturbing or have sensitivities towards [e.g., coarse language, graphic violence, death, explicit sexual content (consensual), lamenting aging, grief and loss, and negative experiences in past relationships].

This series does come with happy endings. Books 1-3 have cliff-hanger epilogues that tie the entire series together. You don’t have to read books 1-3 in order (but you definitely have to read book 4 last); however, it is recommended to read the series in order for the best reading experience.

Sweet Bites

Each book in this series varies in content. For that reason, content notes are contained at the beginning of each book. Use the retailers’ preview option to check before buying.

Each book in this series is a complete, stand-alone story with a happy ending.

The After

This series contains themes that some readers may find disturbing or have sensitivities towards [e.g., coarse language, graphic violence, death, explicit sexual content (consensual), captivity, and challenges related to childbearing].

This series has a few bumps along the way to a happy ending. The storyline continues through the entire trilogy.

True Mates

This series contains themes that some readers may find disturbing or have sensitivities towards [e.g., coarse language, graphic violence, choking, death, explicit sexual content (consensual), captivity, dealing with challenging personalities and personal growth, loss of a child, and dealing with grief and loss].

This series comes with bumpy rides and happy endings. Book 2 (Taken by a Beast) has the most challenging personalities and events in this series. Book 2 also has the rockiest relationship, which requires more work than the others (this couple takes more than one book to get to their happy ending).

Each book in this series focusses on a different couple. Book 1 can be read as a short standalone; however the storyline in Book 2 continues in Book 3.

Plucked Petals

This series contains content some readers may find disturbing or have sensitivities towards [e.g., coarse language, graphic violence, death, explicit sexual content (consensual), threats, captivity, and coping with trauma, grief, and loss].

This is a reverse-harem series that comes with bumpy rides and happy endings.
